EA Hike: Dubeč

Join us for a spring hike to the stronghold at Dubeč (or whatever is left of it).  This event is perfect for both those new to Effective Altruism as well as for catching up with old friends. Leave your laptops at home and come explore the great outdoors with us.

• The hike is 11 km long and should take us about 3 hours to complete. This is a very easy walk with no elevation.

Instructions

• Meetup point: Hlavní nádraží in front of the Burger King
• Meeting time: 11:05
• Train leaves: 11:21 (S9, Os 2533 to Uhříněves).
• We’ll take the train to Uhříněves and walk along the Říčanský creek to the park in Dubeč. We’ll see the remains of a medieval stronghold and its gardens and then continue past Lítožnický pond to the Běchovice train station. We will be back in the centre by 3 p.m.
